This Privacy Policy explains how Shivshakti Enterprise ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use the Corrugated Box Calculator Android app ("the app"). By using the app, you agree to this policy.
01 Information we collect
- Account information — your email address and basic profile, when you sign in with Google or email.
- Business data you enter — your company details (name, address, mobile, email, GSTIN), your client details, box specifications, rates and saved quotations.
- App data — your PIN (stored only as a one-way hash on your device) and app preferences such as theme.
We do not collect your contacts, photos, location, messages or call logs.
02 How we use your information
- To run the app — calculate box rates and create quotations.
- To sign you in and keep your data available on your devices.
- To back up and sync your company, client and quotation data to your account.
- To show advertisements in the free version of the app.
03 Where your data is stored
Your business data is stored on your device and, when you are signed in, securely backed up to Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) under your own account. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
You can use the app's calculations without signing in, in which case your data stays only on your device.
04 Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except:
- Google Firebase — for sign-in and secure data backup.
- Google AdMob — to display advertisements in the free version.
- Google Play — to process the optional ad-free plan payment.
These providers handle data under their own privacy policies.
05 Advertisements
The free version of the app shows advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use a device advertising identifier to show relevant ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising in your Android device settings. The optional ad-free plan removes all advertisements from the app.
06 Payments
Payments for the optional ad-free plan are handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your card or payment details.
07 Children's privacy
The app is a business tool intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
08 Data retention and deletion
Your data stays in your account until you delete it. You can remove clients, quotations and company details inside the app at any time. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email us at the address below and we will delete it.
09 Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including encrypted connections, a device PIN lock and storing your PIN only as a one-way hash. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
